Fish Curry Recipe Without Tomato And Oil (Healthy & Easy Cooking)

Here I come with yet another fish curry recipe. This time, I’m going to show you how to make fish curry recipe without tomato and cooking oil. A few weeks ago, I posted a fish curry recipe with cooking oil. It went viral, but some people asked me to post a fish curry recipe without a single drop of oil. So this time I completely avoid cooking oil and make it healthier than the fish curry with cooking oil recipe.

Basically, fish is good for your health. Nowadays, doctors recommend seafood, especially fish rather than other red meats. Fish is very rich in protein and vitamin D. Besides, fish is the world’s best source of omega-3 fatty acids. Eating fish is lower your risk of heart attacks and strokes. Moreover, having fish prevents you from asthma, cancer, and diabetes. It is good for your skin, hair, brain development, and eyesight. This is how fish provides you lots of health benefits. Apart from all, this particular recipe doesn’t contain a single drop of cooking oil, so you are in a safe side from cooking oil health issues.

Mostly, Sri Lankans cook fish curry without tomato. But only a few people cook fish without oil. This particular fish curry dish is the best combination with rice, pittu, string hoppers or bread. Of course, this is a healthy dish, but more than a healthy dish, it is very easy to cook. Alright, let’s see how to cook Sri Lankan style simple fish curry recipe without tomato and oil in a quick way.

Notes

Note 1: This dish is not too spicy. But if you don’t like more spiciness, reduce the amount of curry powder.

Note 2: I instantly made coconut milk from grated coconut. If it is hard to find grated coconut, you can use coconut milk powder or bottled coconut milk.

Note 3: If you don’t like thick curry, it’s enough to cook under low flame for 3 to 4 minutes.
