- Green chili – 10 to 12
- Thick tamarind juice – 1 ½ tablespoon
- Sugar – ½ teaspoon
- Salt – As you need (KETO people use the Himalayan Pink Salt)
Notes
1. You can increase or reduce green chilies according to your taste.

Instructions
1. Get ready with grated coconut, onions, green chilies, thick tamarind juice, sugar, and salt.
2. Clean the mortar and pestle. Add green chilies and salt together. Using the pestle bash and muddle them to a fine/medium textured paste. For me, it takes about 4 minutes.
3. Now add the tamarind juice and bash them for a minute.
4. Then add grated coconut and sugar. Bash and muddle them until all combined well. For me, it takes about 3 minutes.
5. Finally, add the onions and bash them for one or two minutes. You don’t have to bash the onions to smooth texture, because this green chilli coconut sambol is tastier when onion pieces locate here and there.
