Green Bean Coconut Milk Curry Recipe

Ingredients
  • Green Bean/Bonchi – 150g
  • Onion – 50g
  • Green chili – 2 or 3
  • Turmeric powder – Less than ¼ teaspoon
  • Water – 75ml
  • Thick coconut milk – 100ml
  • Curry leaves – Few
  • Cooking oil – As you need
  • Salt – As you need
Instructions

1. Take the green bean and wash it thoroughly. Cut them into 2-inch pieces as shown in the picture below.

2. Chop the onions and slice the green chilies. Also, get ready with curry leaves, turmeric powder, and salt.

3. Prepare 100ml of thick coconut milk. Also, get ready with 75ml of water.

4. Heat the oil in a cooking pan and add the onion. Sauté it until it gets translucent. Then add green chilies and curry leaves. Stir and cook for a minute.

5. Now add the sliced green bean, mix well, and cook covered under low flame for 2 or 3 minutes.

6. Take off the lid. Add turmeric powder, salt, and water. Mix everything well.

7. Cook covered under medium flame for 2 minutes.

8. Take the lid off and add thick coconut milk. Mix well.

9. Again cook covered under low flame for 2 minutes.
