For a pressure cooker, the pressure ranges from 7.2 to 12 psi. 7psi is suitable for conventional cooking that includes meat, cereals, rice, and stew while 12psi is for canning and preservation.

3. Control Panels
The instant pot is fitted with labeled buttons for you to the set the time and pressure, which is pretty easy. You don’t need a manual. Besides, you have an option of positioning the steam release knob and either removing or attaching the condensation collector depending on your recipe.

The pressure cooker is a bit different. Apart from the labels, the buttons are designed with icons that resemble food relating to different pressure functions.
