Sri Lankan Spicy Beef Curry Recipe

Ingredients
  • Beef – 1kg
  • Tomato – 150g
  • Onion – 100g
  • Garlic cloves – 5 or 6
  • Ginger root – Small (About the size of a large garlic clove)
  • Curry Leaves – Few
  • Turmeric powder – ½ teaspoon
  • Curry powder – 3 tablespoons
  • Thick coconut milk – 150ml
  • Water – 250ml
  • Salt – As you need (KETO people use the Himalayan Pink Salt)

Notes

1. For an extra taste, I recommend you buy the beef with some fat.
2. If you don’t like more spiciness reduce the amount of curry powder.
3. I instantly made coconut milk. If it is hard, use coconut milk powder or bottled coconut milk.
4. I instantly made ginger garlic paste. If it is hard, use the bottled one.
5. Actually, you can prepare this dish without adding the coconut milk. In this case, you may need to add a little more water.

Instructions

1. Rinse and cut the beef. Add turmeric powder and salt. Mix and marinate for 15 to 30 minutes.
